Director Recommended Grants

Each year, our Directors make grants to initiatives of their choosing that are consistent with the mission and values of the Foundation. In 2023, we are proud to support:

Campaign Legal Center

We are providing general operating support for the Campaign Legal Center (CLC). Founded in 2002, CLC is a nonpartisan organization that advocates for every eligible voter to meaningfully participate in the democratic process. CLC uses litigation, policy advocacy, and communications to make systemic impacts at all levels of government.

Institute for Healthcare Improvement

We are providing support for the Institute of Healthcare Improvement connected to the Ten Teams challenge pioneered by senior fellow at IHI, Dr. Don Berwick. This work addresses health equity and the social determinants of health.

Orchestra of St. Luke’s

We are providing additional support for the education programs of longtime grantee, Orchestra of St. Luke’s.
